History

C-bots were first discovered by Scavenger 1 during the first Surface recon mission following The Great Delete.

Role in A-1s bot control network

Conditioning bots are part of A-1’s bot control network. Each person on The Surface is assigned their own conditioning bot which hovers directly in front of their face at all times.

Conditioning Technology

Based on the initial footage, c-bots appear to combine the following technologies to maintain their indoctrination.

Technologies we can confirm with reasonable certainty:

• Facial recognition
  • Allows the c-bot to track its assigned human
• Emotion detection
  • c-bots continuously scan their humans. Possibly to monitor the effects of the simulation or strength of conditioning.
• Electromagnetic mind control
  • c-bots administer electromagnetic charges, presumably to maintain effective neuralinks or to control the haptic stimulus between the body’s physical sensations and A-1s extended reality.
• Extended reality eye mapping

  • By maintaining close and steady proximity to the face and eyes, the c-bots seem to be able to bypass the need for lenses.
