In the MixMob universe, each player is their own culture pod. MixMob land is generated through dynamic culture clusters that index and graph the social influence of individual players, similar to trending topics.
Social influence will be determined by such factors as gameplay, gaming history, activity in the community, in-game NFT holdings, CDX & MXM holdings, etc..
This mechanism creates a deflationary mechanic tied to cultural relevance.
We want to avoid Land being valued simply by virtue of its location and who got their first.
MixMob culture clusters will be constantly remixing and refreshing themselves depending on how our gaming universe evolves.
Types of Culture Clusters:
- Guild - Unlocks when the Guild reaches 10 members. Guild becomes “Common” or “Recognized”. Degenerates when there are less than 3 members remaining
- V.I.P. / ELITE Guilds - Unlock when they collectively own 100 Trophies
- Marketplace - Unlocks as the player levels up
- Trading - TBD
- Selling - TBD
- Upgrading - Degenerates if the player does not have any MixBots
- Trophy Room - Unlocks when the player receives their first Trophy
- Customizations - Degenerates if the player doesn’t log in for 10 days
- Sub-domain (in-game) - Unlocks when there are 15 people online in Discord at the same time. Does not Degenerate.
- Game-arcades - Unlocks as they become available
- Mob-rooms - Unlocks with special keys.
- Wardrobe - A place where mutable Mask attributes may be swapped. Degenerates when the player sells all attributes and is left with a Blank Mask.
- Glitch Gateway - The world in between the Race Track and the Land of MixMob.
- Science Room - A Robotics Scientist and her team have built a contraption to merge Masks and MixBots together.
A Player may customize their culture cluster to enhance their feeling of ownership; other players may visit their Culture Cluster to see how their creative vision might be different to their own, and may even choose to leave Fan Mail. Shared Culture Clusters may also be Customized by players who earn V.I.P. rewards.
