MixBots are the unusual companion coming to the player’s aide. To keep ownership and control over the MixBots, the player needs to ensure their influence does not degenerate over time. MixBots are formless robots with simple programming but can be upgraded and evolve over time to become powerful allies.
<aside> ⚠️ All MixBots come to the player’s possession as simple robots being at level 0 - these are called c-bots.

Initially, the MixBots have no allegiance to any Faction and therefore the player’s key motivations and responsibilities are to upgrade them - to remix them with other MixBots - and evolve their MixBots as they level up into a Faction. Players choose which Faction to unlock as they each have unique advantages and new abilities to perform as MixBots. However... when a Faction is chosen and the MixBot evolves, it is irreversible; a player can hold an infinite number of MixBots and choose how to evolve them.
Unlike the MixBots who evolve into a Faction, a player is not aligned to a Faction and gains no special bonus or attribute. They must look for Guilds and other opportunities to use their MixBots to defeat A-1.
There will likely be 9 Factions in the Surface and the Sub-domain (note: the game will be launching with 3 pilot Factions below).
These MixBots can reverse-engineer offensive powers and build up impressive defenses. They are able to nullify or block attacks with their keen sense of architecture.
These MixBots can research and create unfathomable solutions to unique challenges. They are able to change gameplay in an impossible way but due to the nature of creation, they may appear smaller or have a disadvantage compared to their counterparts.
These MixBots are insanely powerful and can decimate almost anything with their sheer power, but their aggressive attributes make them uncontrollable - and they are even designed to G-G-GLITCH.
